THE TEAM

The people you see here are the founding members of the Detroit Space Program, together they are passionate about space in Detroit. Each of them played an integral role in driving positive change.

BIELENBERG, JOHN

John is a think wronger from Belfast, Maine. He's much too tall to fit into a space suit.

BOXWALA, FATEMA

Fatema was the first designer in space. She then realized it's impossible to have a baseline grid due to lack of orientation.

BRUDER, RANDALL

Randall Bruder is a graphic designer who is the son of two astronauts. He never lived up to his parents' expectations.

CROSKEY, ERIC

Eric Croskey is a designer who has a soft spot for black holes. He should have been an astronaut.

HAGEN, JACOB

Jacob is an Iowan who found space travel by trying to recreate Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He designs, sometimes.

JANNOTT, MEGAN

Megan is a designer and photographer who was heavily involved in putting critters in space. She loves her pup, Futura.

KISOR, DOUG

Doug is the director of the Detroit Space Program. His most difficult task is counting down from ten.

MITEVSKI, MONICA

There is a constellation in the far reaches of space that Monica named. Her name is Diana Ross.

PIEL, LILY

Lily is a photographer that developed the crosshairs found on all NASA photography. Ironically, she likes target shooting.

ROACH, NICOLE

Space junk. Space junk. Space junk. Space junk. Space junk. Space junk. Space junk. Big fan of OS. Outer space.

SCHAEFER, SAMANTHA

Samantha is a cadet who dabbles in design. She enjoys long conversations with stars and planets and galaxies.

SMITH, JOSHUA

Josh refused to wear his space suit until it was outfitted with a blazer. He doesn't know how to use paragraph styles.

STOCKER, ALICIA

Alicia classifies her own activity by using various documents and forms. Her classification for space food? "Yummy!"

TUMAGHAP, CHRISTOPHER

Christopher are not the droids you are looking for. There, an obligatory Star Wars reference.
